ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ನವದೆಹಲಿ ಮುನ್ಸಿಪಲ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ (ಎನ್‌ಡಿಎಂಸಿ) ಇಂದು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ “ರಾಜಪಥ್” ಅನ್ನು “ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಪಥ” ಎಂದು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದೆ. ವಿಶೇಷ ಎನ್‌ಡಿಎಂಸಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಸಂಸದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್‌ಡಿಎಂಸಿ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಮೀನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಲೇಖಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇಂದು ನಡೆದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್‌ಪಥ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಪಥ್ ಎಂದು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಲೇಖಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಜಪಥವನ್ನು “ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಪಥ್” ಎಂದು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸೇವೆಯ ಮನೋಭಾವವು ಆಡಳಿತದ ಹಕ್ಕು ಅಲ್ಲ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. ಈ ಅಮೃತಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿನಾಡಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಇದು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
